What I found interesting was that how European nations had such a large impact on other nations in regards to trade and commerce. Innovations were rapidly being discovered and one of Europeans biggest threats in trade and commerce was the Chinese Empire. In retaliation to being threatened by the Chinese Empire, the Spanish decided to find a new route to far eastern goods; the Americas were then discovered. The Great Dying soon there after occurred forcing natives to either assimilate to Spanish rule or die off.
